Pastor’s Annual Report, 2017
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Galatians 1:3-5
“To deliver us from the present evil age…” Some of us are thankful for God’s promise of deliverance and are glad to put 2016 behind us. Our country was overrun by politics and terrorism and division in ways I’ve never seen before. At Living Faith there were many challenging life events that impacted all of us and caused us to draw near to each other with support and love. Jesus taught us to expect trials and tribulations but not to lose heart for He is with us to help us in every circumstance. Ps 121 promises:
The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore.
Through all the ups and downs of life God’s blessings continue to flow down on us. Our first year in the new building saw many new visitors and we’ve more than doubled our numbers at worship and the many ministry events happening each month. There was enough funds to pay off the small loan we took out to complete the construction and the dream of being debt free has become a reality! We are committed to reaching our community together and all of our outreach centers around our core values; we remain Bible Centered, Family Focused and Mission Driven. It’s exciting to see what God has done and I can’t wait to see what he has for us in 2017!
Records show that there were five baptisms, one confirmation and one funeral in 2016.
Blessings in the coming year,
